This California Consumer Privacy Act (CCPA) Notice, as amended by the California Privacy Rights Act (CPRA), applies to California residents and supplements our Privacy Policy. It describes your rights under California law and how My Mortgage Company, Inc. collects, uses, and discloses personal information.

Purposes for Collecting Personal Information

  • Verifying identity and preventing fraud
  • Communicating with you about your loan, rates, and services
  • Improving our website and marketing our services

Disclosure of Personal Information

In the past 12 months, we have disclosed the following categories of personal information for business purposes:

  • Identifiers — shared with lenders, title companies, and service providers
  • Financial information — shared with lenders, underwriters, and credit bureaus
  • Internet activity — shared with analytics providers (in aggregate or de-identified form)
  • Protected classifications — disclosed to government agencies for HMDA compliance only

We do not sell your personal information. We do not share your personal information for cross-context behavioral advertising.

Your California Privacy Rights

As a California resident, you have the following rights under CCPA/CPRA:

Right to Know

You may request that we disclose the categories and specific pieces of personal information we have collected about you, the sources from which we collected it, the purposes for collection, and the categories of third parties with whom we share it.

Right to Delete

You may request deletion of personal information we have collected from you, subject to certain exceptions (e.g., information needed to complete a transaction, comply with a legal obligation, or for fraud prevention).

Right to Correct

You may request that we correct inaccurate personal information we maintain about you.

Right to Opt Out of Sale / Sharing

We do not sell or share your personal information for cross-context behavioral advertising. No opt-out action is required.

Right to Limit Use of Sensitive Personal Information

You may request that we limit our use of sensitive personal information (such as your SSN or financial account data) to purposes necessary to provide services to you.

Right to Non-Discrimination

We will not discriminate against you for exercising any of your CCPA/CPRA rights. We will not deny you services, charge different prices, or provide a different level of service because you exercised a privacy right.

How to Submit a Privacy Request

To exercise any of your rights above, submit a verifiable consumer request by:

We will acknowledge receipt within 10 business days and respond substantively within 45 calendar days of receiving a verifiable request. If additional time is needed, we will notify you.

To verify your identity, we may ask you to provide information that matches what we have on file. You may also designate an authorized agent to submit a request on your behalf. We will require written authorization and may verify your identity directly.

Financial Privacy & GLBA Exemption

Much of the personal information we collect in connection with mortgage loan applications is subject to the Gramm-Leach-Bliley Act (GLBA) rather than the CCPA. To the extent GLBA applies, it governs our collection, use, and disclosure of your nonpublic personal financial information.
